Central to this new platform is the Nvidia Isaac GR00T H2 Plus humanoid robot. This system integrates Sharpa’s highly dexterous robotic hands, Unitree’s H2 humanoid body, and Nvidia’s cutting-edge AI computing technology. Sharpa’s robotic hands are particularly noteworthy, offering 22 degrees of freedom to mimic the dexterity and tactile sensitivity of human hands, thereby enabling robots to handle tasks that require fine motor skills. This platform is designed to facilitate research into precision manufacturing, healthcare assistance, food preparation, cleaning, and other tasks necessitating precise object manipulation.
Researchers using this platform will also benefit from access to Nvidia’s comprehensive AI models, simulation tools, and software development ecosystem. This support will allow for more efficient training and testing of robotic systems, enhancing the overall research process.
